Neptune Betta

Neptune, into the deep. The fish swimming seems to be going into the darkness, into Neptune’s domain. This third series, infuses metallic (gold, silver, bronze, and or copper paints) into the fish, and speck in the background. I continue to refine my signature technique of acrylic pouring and detailing out with oil traditional paints. The dark background creates a focal point that carries the viewer more deeply into the vivid colors of the fish. My consistent theme in all my paintings remains true; to use colors to symbolize a variety of emotions, and truths, to bring about calmness that inspires tranquility.
