This “Lucky 7’s” series consists of three original paintings, each showcasing 7 Cellars wines. Apart from my inherent love for wine, the number 7 has iconic ties to Colorado, and the 7 Cellars founder. When exploring different setups and taking pictures of the bottles, I saw three bottles lined up, and the 7-7-7 popped out at me. The original paintings continue to display my signature style of combining traditional oils, and incorporating an acrylic pouring. The main bottle in focus is done with a few different pours. The wine labels, blurred background, and other fine details are created with oils. The combination is striking.
